Well what do you know, the summer has nearly come to a close without a new blog post. Seems to be an occupational hazard of being a new parent.
Well I’ve been working on a couple of commissions this summer and just completed the second of them (still working on the first). This is a commission I did for fantasy author V.R.Cardoso for his forthcoming novel The Dragon Hunter and the Mage: Wounds in the Sky Book 1. My client requested that the color scheme to be similar to the vibrant Dragon Age maps. I digitally painted the map in Photoshop Elements, labeled it in Inkscape, and did a handful of other things to it in GIMP. Hope you enjoy.
