The Barrowlands Commission

This is a map I did for Martin Lambert’s forthcoming Hero’s Tears RPG.  The RPG looks super fun and has some truly beautiful artwork.  As part of the specs for this piece I was asked to incorporate themes of earth, battle and death into the map.  I thought a panoramic shot of barrows might be a nice way of representing both the themes and providing another visual element that would lend character to the piece.  I’m currently in the beginning stages of my second commission for the Hero’s Tears RPG.
